These Key Chains are made of Actual Fired brass & primers.  
These are made from fired rounds, so there may be small nicks or scratches in them as is normal for fired ammo that has been recycled.  They have no gunpowder in them, the primer is fired, and they are safe...in short, they are completely inert.  
Because of the weight of the brass and Bullets, these things feel like actual rounds.
They come with a Nickel plated split Key Ring, which is mounted through a drilled hole in the brass.
